Heart Measured in Inches is a limited edition fine art serigraph created at Self Help Graphics with master printer Jose Alpuche. 55 prints were made for this series. This print was inspired by a previous measured drawing of a heart that I created as a response to dealing with my father's heart attack and double-bypass surgery. He unfortunately suffered a heart attack in December 2011 and I was struggling to understand his situation and condition. This drawing helped to do something with my anxiety over my father's health and surgery.  This print is another extension to this difficult experience. I measure each line in this heart in inches to describe what I see and to describe without words how beautiful, complex, fragile and resilient this organ is.
